(Video) KEEP IT TRUE FESTIVAL - Whiplash, High Spirits, Midnight, Vardis, Sacrifice and more
While most metalheads drool at the thought of visiting Wacken one day, personally I'd prefer to spend some time on the high seas as part of the 70,000 Tons of Metal or the much smaller Keep It True Festival in Germany.
Keep It True is an annual festival that caters mostly to traditional metal, but has expanded over the years to include some extreme metal bands, as well. It's an indoor event, so numbers are kept at a manageable amount and the crowds always seem engaged and having a great time.
